Who is Live Internet Weddings and what do you do?
Live Internet Weddings is the future of wedding videography. While
our name might imply that all we do is broadcast your wedding live
via the Internet, we are so much more than that. In fact, we are a
professional videography company that films your wedding day and
produces masterfully edited DVD videos for you to cherish forever.
We also specialize in slideshows, ceremony highlights, love stories,
and more to complete your wedding day video needs.
Why should we have a wedding video?
Only video captures all the sights,
sounds, and emotions of your wedding day. From the walk down the
aisle, the sound of your voices exchanging your vows, all the way to
the cutting of the cake and first dance… we make sure that you are
able to have the complete story of your wedding.
Of course, we understand that
capturing your wedding day is a one time event, that all the love
and fun-filled moments are preserved for you to be able to cherish
over and over again. That is why Live Internet Weddings is the
premiere choice for your wedding video. We value your input and
listen to what you have to say about your wedding day, and what will
make it so special to you. That way, you can be assured of your
final product being of the highest quality.
What is a Live Webcast?
We realize that not all your family
and friends can make your wedding day. Whether you are a local
resident here in Hawaii or flying halfway around the world, it does
seem that someone cannot attend your special day for a variety of
reasons.
What we do here at Live Internet
Weddings is help bring everyone together for your magical day. With
the help of technology, we can broadcast your wedding LIVE via the
Internet. It’s easy for your viewers to be able to do, we will
simply email you a link 2 weeks before the wedding.
Why should we pay for a
professional video when our Uncle has offered to film it with his
camcorder?
There are many things that relatives
can provide for you on your wedding day. However, it is best
advised that when it comes to your wedding video that it not be one
of them. We respect your family’s devotion to you, but advise that
there is a big difference between an amateur home movie and a
professionally produced wedding video. There are many factors that
come into filming your special day, and taking the chance on Uncle
Bob running low of tape, not having a professional microphone, or
battery dying at the most important of moments just is not worth the
risk. Let us put you at ease.
FACT: The KnotTM
Magazine and a variety of other wedding sources always reveal that
the number one regret brides have about their wedding is not getting
a wedding video. Whether it’s getting a shaky video from Uncle Bob,
seeing someone else’s video, or just realizing that they don’t have
the memories to cherish, omitting a wedding video always seems to be
the biggest regret. Trust our professionals to do the job right and
deliver you a final product you will never forget. And if your
relatives want to video your wedding, that’s fine. All we ask is
that they just allow us to have the room to operate.
We
are having still photographs taken; do we really need video as well?
We definitely emphasize how
important photography is to a wedding, and will be happy to
recommend some quality photographers. However, pictures only
capture a single frame at a time, whereas video captures your ENTIRE
DAY. Only video will replay all the most treasured moments in
detail.
Do you use fully digital
equipment?
Absolutely. In fact, we use all
Sony brand High Definition video cameras to assure that your quality
comes out pure and clean.
Will our wedding be available on DVD?
Yes. We only use DVD format to
deliver our final product to you. The difference of quality between
VHS and DVD is so dramatic that we would not think of giving you
anything less.
Can I choose the background music for our video?
Generally, the placement of the
music to your video is custom placed by our professionals to
coincide to your wedding day. Much like a movie, every second of a
song or sound is specific. However, if there is one particular song
that you and the couple cherish, please let us know and we will do
our best to use it in your video.
I’m concerned the cameramen might get in the way.
Not to worry. We respect the fact
that it is your special day. Our style is very unobtrusive and
discreet. We document rather than direct your wedding day. When it
comes to capturing those special moments before and after the
wedding, we try as much as possible to let everything be as natural
as possible. While we may set up a couple of shots with you, it’s
for the sole purpose
Do
you use bright lights?
Our cameras do a wonderful job even
in the lowest of lighting conditions. Should we need to use extra
light, be assured that it will be minimal and not overpowering to
the moment.
How long will the completed video run for?
Every wedding is unique; therefore, each video
will be a different length. Our philosophy is to deliver a final
video high in quality, rather than quantity. Generally speaking,
expect a video anywhere from a half an hour to an hour, sometimes
more. We will capture and edit your video so that it holds your
interest throughout, as well as your friends and family that you
watch it with.
When will the finished video be delivered to us?
Live Internet Weddings prides itself on a
sensible turnaround time to deliver your completed video. We know
that you will be excited to see your video, so we make sure that you
get your video sooner, rather than later. Keep in mind, that the
editing process is complex and sometimes lengthy process, but is
where all the magic takes place. We would rather spend a few more
days getting it right, rather than delivering a sloppily edited
final video to you. While it may take some videographers two to
three months, we generally try to get your video to you within 4
weeks.
Can we be involved in the editing?
Your wedding will take approximately ten to
fifteen business days to edit, so obviously it is just not practical
for you to be involved on a day to day basis. We do invite your
input before the edit so that we can ensure that we reflect any
specific needs.
Can we see examples of
your work?
Absolutely. You can view samples of
our work online, or we would also be happy to send you a sample DVD
to you. Please just email or call us regarding your date, so that
we can verify availability before sending you a sample.
Can I have all the
original footage afterwards?
Yes, we can provide that to you for
a small fee. However, please remember that the editing process is
used to highlight all the best aspects of your wedding day. The
footage you receive will be raw and edited.
Will your cameramen be
professional in appearance?
Absolutely, we pride ourselves on
dressing with class for your special day. We will blend in with
other guests, and if you have any special wishes for how you would
like us to present ourselves, please just let us know.
How customized will our
video be?
Very! Every couple is unique and
special, therefore, so will your video. Our aim is to tell your
story, not just a cookie cutter version. We blend documentary
and cinematic styles incorporating your sights, sounds, and emotions
to deliver a unique video just for you.
Do
you require a deposit for your services?
Yes, a deposit of 1/2 of the total cost is
required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is required
at least 14 days before the wedding day. The deposit is
non-refundable within 90 days of the wedding day.
Why are you more
expensive than many other wedding videographers?
We pride ourselves on being the best
in the business, and so are costs are slightly higher than some. We
use the highest quality equipment available and we employ special
cinematic techniques. We have extensive experience in the industry,
and we are trusted as the preferred videographer for all Starwood
Hotels on the islands of Hawaii. The old adage that you get what you
pay for is true with wedding films, just as it is true with
virtually any other transaction.
I am nervous about
cameras, can you reassure me?
That is a question that is posed to
us from time to time, and understandably so. We understand that YOU
are the star of the show, and we would never take that away from you
by being obtrusive. For the most part, we simply document your day,
so that you will be excited at reliving the most special day of your
lives.
I
believe that our ceremony location restricts video taping inside, is
that a problem?
Some churches and locations do have
restrictions on cameras and equipment. We do our very best to
cooperate with those, and will always find a way to capture your
wedding.
Should we provide the
cameramen with a meal?
For any weddings that also include
your reception being filmed, it is very appreciated if you can
provide our videographers with a meal. Since we will be working
around 8+ hours, our staff will need a time to eat. Normally, our
videographers will simply eat while you are, therefore not being
obtrusive to you or your guests while you are enjoying your meal.
Also, remember there are other vendors who will be in attendance, so
you should contact your wedding coordinator or caterer to make
arrangements for all personnel in attendance in advance.
Can you interview some of
our guests?
Of course! During your reception,
we do try to pass around a microphone to any guests who are willing
to wish you heartfelt congratulations on your new life together. We
would never push anyone who is unwilling, only those who are up to
getting in front of the camera.
How early do we need to book your services?
While we can book your wedding on short
notice, the sooner the better. We have many dates already filled
up, sometimes a year and a half in advance. All bookings are done a
first-come, first-served basis.
Can you travel?
Live Internet Weddings has a fine
reputation that means that clients all over the U.S.A. have used our
services. Although we are based in Hawaii, please do not hesitate to
contact us about your wedding in a different area of the country, or
a destination wedding. We are happy to travel, subject to
availability.
Why should we choose Live
Internet Weddings?
You desire your wedding to be truly
special, therefore, you will want someone who is of the utmost class
and professionalism to be there. You want your cherish your day and
relive it over and over again, so you will a video that reflects in
a truly unique and elegant way. Don’t trust an amateur to give you
a good product. Trust someone who is a professional to give you a
superior wedding video that you will always remember. |
